• Why did you choose BlackCell? How did you decide you wanted to work here?

My initial access with Black Cell happened in 2021, when I was looking for an internship.

Black Cell was surprisingly open and welcoming about granting me temporary access, and the moment I stepped into the office, I felt this unexplainable inspiration.

Among the very first faces I met with Béla and Szabolcs, both of them were genuinely friendly, but professionally fierce. That day I had this gut feeling, that – I hope one day I will live up to their expectations and earn my place here – which drives me ever since.

• How would you describe BlackCell in three words?

• What do you like most about BlackCell?

Working here means that you are a foundational part of a hand-picked community, the gladiators of IT security.

We are able cover a huge percent of this mind-blowingly broad profession, which means, should you face any difficulties during your work, a cross-division backup is always at hand if needed, helping both the customer and you!

• Who would you recommend the company to?

Anyone who seeks to participate in tackling the most unique professional challenges by contributing with their sharpened soft and hard skills.

• What positive surprises have you had with the company?

At some point you would feel that people here are precisely engineered autonomous problem-solving machines, but don’t let that cold professional proficiency mislead you. People here are whole-hearted, open minded, emphatic and some of them are go-to partners in putting your mind at ease and recharging your soul.

• Tell us about a BlackCell success you are proud of!

Straight out of the “Splunk Architecting school”, I had the opportunity to help design a SIEM deployment that was out of this world. It was simply monstrous given the amount of implemented redundancy measures. I think it is fair to say, that it has challenged many of us, and raised our proficiency to a much greater level.

• Tell us about your favorite BlackCell experience!

I will never forget the stories from the “old era Black Cell”, those memories are unlike any other. I was only so lucky to be involved in a small portion of them, while I was just told about the rest of them. Even pre-historic cave paintings are not as valuable as these. If you know, you know.

• Who among your colleagues has had the greatest influence on you and why?

It is merely impossible to mention only one name, so the list of these groundbreaking colleagues goes like this:

Gyebnár Gergő, Droppa Béla, Szőllősi Péter, Luter Tibor, Griffiths Dániel, Kiss Gergő, Dörmő Richárd

They are all excellent, refined, fearless and iconic in their field of expertise, without their inspiration, I never could have achieved what I had so far.

• Why is it worth applying here?

By being part of this community, having the opportunity to work on such high-profile projects, feeling valued and earning a generous benefit package, everything is granted to bring the most out of yourself and march towards where you wish to be in life. In return, sometimes you will have to navigate rough seas, and bend with the wind, just like pine trees do to grow so high.

• How has BlackCell helped you in terms of your future?

Black Cell has provided me all the support I needed to pursue my goals and become a versatile Splunk Architect, allowing me to thrive creatively and transforming my job into passion. They invested in me regardless of some reasonable doubt at the beginning.

• What kind of community/social experience does BlackCell offer?

The palette of team building events here at Black cell has more colours than you could ever describe with RGB or CMYK. From grabbing a drink, across LAN parties, hiking, running, cooking competitions all the way to the animal rescue shelter, you definitely will find your type of activity! If not, feel free to suggest something new!

• What is one or two sentences you would use to convince others to apply to BlackCell?
