Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Scope of duties
- Strategic Technology Leadership: Define and execute Black Cell’s overall technology strategy in alignment with the company’s vision and business goals. Lead the innovation agenda, driving forward-looking technology initiatives in the technology business units of Black Cell to maintain competitive advantage.
- Cybersecurity Innovation: Ensure Black Cell remains at the forefront of the cybersecurity landscape by researching, identifying, and implementing technologies that enhance service offerings, particularly in areas like boundary defence, EDR/XDR, offensive security, threat intelligence, incident response, and SOC operations.
- Product and Solution Development: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Black Cell’s cybersecurity service offerings, ensuring they meet evolving client needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaboration and Partnership Building: Work closely with the executive team to define technical strategies and foster relationships with technology vendors, partners, and customers to develop joint solutions and services.
- Technical Operations Oversight: Lead the technical teams, including Fusion Center (our Security Operations Centre), Integration and Offensive Security, to ensure the delivery of one-off projects and managed security services.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and manage technology risks related to Black Cell’s technical solutions and internal infrastructure. Ensure that Black Cell’s internal systems and customer-facing services adhere to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, NIS2, GDPR, ENTSO-E, among other.
- Technology Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead Black Cell’s Fusion Center, Integration and Offensive Security technical teams. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and technical excellence.
- Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Oversee technology budgets, ensuring investments in tools, software, and infrastructure are in line with previous plans, aligned with business objectives and deliver maximum return on investment.
- Client-Focused Innovation: Engage with key clients to understand their technology needs and ensure Black Cell’s solutions evolve to meet and exceed client expectations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles in SMB or Enterprise, with at least 5 years in the cybersecurity sector.
- Leadership skills: Proven experience leading SMB technical teams, with a strong ability to inspire, motivate, and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Cybersecurity expertise: Deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, cloud security (Microsoft, AWS), penetration testing and vulnerability management tools etc.
- Operational excellence: Strong experience in overseeing the design, deployment, and management of secure IT infrastructure and services at scale.
- Stakeholder management: Experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders, clients, and technology vendors to align technology initiatives with business needs.

Medior Network Security Engineer

Scope of duties
- Supervise contract fulfilment and contribute to its optimization for both the customer and Black Cell and monitor factors, which influence them.

Senior Fusion Center Engineer

- Design, implementation, management and optimisation of Security Incident and Event Management tool [SIEM] (SIEM solutions in scope: Splunk Enterprise, Microsoft Sentinel and IBM QRadar)
