• Why did you choose Black Cell? How did you decide you wanted to work here?
I have been interested in IT and information security since I was a child, although life took me in a different direction for a while. That interest never disappeared, so later I began further studies in the field. At university, Gyebnár Gergő, the founder and former CEO of Black Cell, noticed that cybersecurity was more than just a subject I was studying – it was a genuine passion. He showed me that Black Cell was looking for exactly those kinds of people: people who see cybersecurity not simply as a job, but as a profession they are genuinely passionate about.
  • How would you describe Black Cell in three words?
Security. Innovation. Adaptability.
For me, security has a double meaning. Black Cell provides security for its clients, while at the same time providing us, as employees, with a stable and predictable environment. Innovation and adaptability are equally important because we work in a field that is constantly changing, which means that we also have to continuously evolve with it.
  • What do you like most about Black Cell?
What I like most is that I genuinely get to work on something I love. Because of that, my work often feels like a hobby as well: week after week, I face new professional challenges that require teamwork and shared problem-solving. It is also very important to me that Black Cell supports not only my development within the company, but also my professional growth outside the organization through further learning and new experiences.
  • Who would you recommend the company to?
I would recommend Black Cell to people who are not simply looking for a job, but for a place where they can work on something they genuinely enjoy. I think Black Cell is especially well suited to people who are curious, want to keep developing, and see their profession as more than just a job.
  • What positive surprises have you had with the company?
What surprised me most positively was the level of trust and freedom I was given. This is complemented by the attitude of the leadership, the high professional level of my colleagues, and the flexibility that characterizes everyday work. I also especially appreciate that ideas are genuinely welcomed here: if someone comes up with something worth pursuing, they can receive real support to turn it into reality.
  • Tell us about a Black Cell success you are proud of!
One of the most important professional milestones for me this year was building our L2 team from the ground up. As team leader, I had the opportunity to be involved from the very beginning in shaping the team structure, its day-to-day operation, and its responsibilities. What I am most proud of is that we have created a team that is not only professionally strong, but also works very well together on a personal level. To me, that is a greater achievement than any individual technical solution or successfully completed project, because it creates long-term value for the organization.
  • Tell us about your favorite Black Cell experience!
When I first walked into Black Cell’s former office in 2023, I formed a clear picture of what the company was like at that time. By comparison, at the 2025 Christmas dinner, there were already almost sixty of us sitting together as one team. It was great to see how much Black Cell had developed in such a short period of time, and in the months since then it has been equally clear that this dynamic growth is continuing. I am particularly proud to be part of that journey and to contribute to it in my own area.
  • Who among your colleagues has had the greatest influence on you and why?
Gyebnár Gergő played a defining role in bringing me to Black Cell. He showed me that the company was looking for people who saw cybersecurity as more than simply a job, and that mindset strongly resonated with me. From a professional perspective, the expertise and approach of Luter Tibor and Griffits Dániel have also been important examples for me, showing me the level of professional excellence worth aiming for.
9. Why is it worth applying here?
Because Black Cell offers more than simply a job. It gives people the opportunity to work on something they genuinely enjoy, surrounded by highly skilled professionals, with a high level of trust and freedom. At the same time, there are always new challenges, and professional development is supported both within and outside the company. If cybersecurity means more to someone than just a job, I think they will feel at home here.
  • How has Black Cell helped you in terms of your future?
Black Cell has given me a stable and predictable future among people who share similar interests and goals. This is important to me because here, work and learning are not two separate things – both are connected to the field I genuinely enjoy. Because of this, I do not see Black Cell simply as a workplace, but as an environment where I can continue to develop professionally in the long term.
  • What kind of community/social experience does Black Cell offer?
A shared professional interest brings people together very quickly. We do not just work together; we continuously learn from one another, share our experiences, support each other, and celebrate our successes together. For me, that makes the Black Cell community much more than simply a collection of working relationships.
  • What is one or two sentences you would use to convince others to apply to Black Cell?
If cybersecurity is more than just a job to you, and it is something you genuinely enjoy doing, then Black Cell is definitely worth getting to know. Here, you can work alongside highly skilled professionals with trust and freedom, while continuously having opportunities to learn and develop.
