Donát began his career in early 2016, and has been steadily building his expertise in everything related to cyber security. Having worked at companies of all sizes, be that private or state-owned, he has adapted to all forms of operations. ​

Through his work, he garnered immense hands-on cyber security expertise across various industry sectors, including financial, having tested multiple banking systems, cloud-native platforms and critical infrastructures. In his off-hours, he is still honing his offensive edge by researching new tools, doing CTFs on HackTheBox, where he has reached the top 100on the global rank list back in 2020.​
